MY STORY
Hi there! My name is Allison Sieczka, and I’m a proud Chicagoan with a passion for photography. I grew up on the southwest side of Chicago, and my journey in photography began years ago. In 2006, I graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor’s degree in Photography. During my time at college, I honed my skills and nurtured my creative vision.
My primary focus in photography is capturing the electric energy and raw emotion of concerts and theater performances. I thrive in those moments when I can freeze an electrifying moment on stage, making viewers feel like they were right there in the audience, immersed in the experience.
Apart from concerts and theater, I also have a deep love for capturing the beauty of landscapes. Through my lens, I aim to transport viewers to stunning natural settings, whether it’s the grandeur of a majestic mountain range or the serenity of a quiet lakeside scene.
For me, photography is all about storytelling. I want each image to be a narrative, a testament to the energy, emotion, and beauty of the world around us. Traveling has been a significant source of inspiration for me, allowing me to explore different cities and landscapes, but my heart truly belongs to Chicago. Capturing the essence of this city through my photography—the architecture, the culture, and the people all come together to create a dynamic tapestry that never ceases to inspire me.
